Background - Dr Andrew Kelly

After growing up in the South Island and Dunedin, I trained through Otago Medical School. Subsequently I worked and trained in New Zealand, Ireland, and Australia, returning to NZ as a Specialist Paediatrician in 1999. I’ve had a busy and varied career in Hospital Paediatrics, Neonatal, and Community Medicine by way of Dunedin Hospital, University of Otago, and Southern community clinics. For that period I’ve supervised the training of NZ paediatricians through the RACP training and examination committees.

What to Expect

• You will be offered an appointment for you and your child to meet at clinic with a Paediatrician.
• If you have additional information or reports, you could email them through to us beforehand, at admin@southernpaediatrics.co.nz
• A consultation report will be produced and emailed to parents and referrer/GP to be part of your child's medical record, usually within the week.
